This is your chance to become involved in Boone Green Drinks, an organization that celebrates its 5th year of social networking in the High Country. We have a great schedule on tap for the summer and will be meeting the third Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Appalachian Mountain Brewery for the foreseeable future. Quench your thirst for a Sustainable Boone one sip at a time.

Success at U.S. Beer Open!

Since we opened almost five months ago, we have always been intently focused on the quality of our beer. This obsession has already paid off: AMB took two gold medals at the U.S. Beer Open in Atlanta, Georgia. This year 2500 different beers competed in categories from English Summer Ale to Root Beer to Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. AMB took the gold in the Golden or Blonde Ale category with the Honey Badger and in the German Alt category for the Crooked Common.

Congratulations to all of the other winners at the Open. The craft brew revolution is rolling along, and everyone at AMB is excited for how this early recognition will help us to grow and continue to give back to our community.

Thanks to everyone who came out Saturday for the Country to the Bone Cookout

We had a great time and raised a lot of money for the F.A.R.M Cafe. We'd like to thank everyone who came out, enjoyed some beer can chicken, and supported a good cause. Community is defined by those of us who participate in the process and today the community did just that.
