We had a great time and raised a lot of money for the F.A.R.M Cafe. We'd like to thank everyone who came out, enjoyed some beer can chicken, and supported a good cause. Community is defined by those of us who participate in the process and today the community did just that.
Bring your friends and family out tomorrow, Saturday June 29th to AMB! Beer Can Chickens, Live music with Adam Church and Luke Combs. What could be better? ALL food donations will go to support the Farm Cafe!
Great Weekend in the High Country, come out today and see what were about, Cheers!!
As we've said many times before, AMB is all about connecting with and supporting the community. To this end, we celebrated the first annual New River Festival at the brewery last weekend. It was a huge success and the atmosphere felt more like a neighborhood block party than a brewery tasting room! There were live performances from Keith Stroud, Anna Barnett, and the New River Boys, all performing throughout the day and well into the night. We grilled out as well, serving chicken wings, ribs, and veggie burgers, all of which benefits the Watauga River Partners and the National Committee for the New River. Giant Jenga also made it's debut at the brewery, and it has instantly become a classic. In the end we raised over $600 for our non-profit partners, helping to protect the New River and all of its tributaries, including the two creeks that run next to the brewery.
Appalachian Mountain Brewery is now certified as a "Green" Business! We are excited about hosting the Green Drinks Boone meeting tonight from 6-8 pm. Come celebrate with us!!
The AMB is one of our area’s newest Green businesses and we will also have the opportunity to learn more about their efforts in energy efficiency and renewables, community stewardship, wetlands restoration, and sustainable agriculture. This is your chance to become involved in Boone Green Drinks, an organization that celebrates its 5th year of social networking in the High Country. We have a great schedule on tap for the summer and will be meeting the third Tuesday of the month from 6 to 8 at the Appalachian Mountain Brewery for the foreseeable future. Quench your thirst for a Sustainable Boone one sip at a time.
